On hiatus from blogging…oops! You get busy and time has a way of ripping by…Brief update, I continued to bike commute in September and begged, pleaded, cajoled, nagged enough co-workers to not only ride, but to log those rides for the Bicycle Transportation Alliance’s annual challenge, that we won! And I had no more mishaps, although sadly there were some notable cycling tragedies this fall. I hung the bike up the last day of September, but I have been carpooling with my bike commute buddy, Mary Anne ever since. As a driver and a bike rider, I am now acutely aware of the horrific dangers of the right hook, and do everything in my power to avoid it when I’m on the road.  I will ride again when the waters recede and the days grow longer. As for other things, there’s so much to say, so I shall post again, post-haste…
